We see horses with recurring laminitis yet without the rich grass and being belly! This can result from a condition caused by an overactive adrenal gland or Cushings Syndrome. Coat changes may also be seen, with summer coat slow to come out and the horse appearing generally much hairier than normal. To encourage diagnosis, the lab fees for testing for this are FREE (paid for by the drug company who make a drug to correct this), though visit and sampling fees still apply. Ask one of the Equine team if you are not sure.
